I am not-so-patiently waiting for warmer weather to bring some Spring blossoms so I can take more images like these!

This month’s concept group theme is Peter and Wendy (aka Peter Pan) by J. M. Barrie. I focused on Tinker Bell’s jealousy of Wendy, and created a scene where Wendy is about to fly out of her window, and her reaction to the fairy pulling her hair in an attempt to keep her away from Neverland and Peter Pan.

I have been having so much fun doing concept shoots. It is such a great way to express myself and create images that speak to me, without any creative restrictions
This one is titled “She has her Head in the Clouds“.

Inspired by Nikki on Flickr.
Have you ever noticed that baby boys have the best lashes? (And he has some pretty adorable chubby cheeks too, heehee)

It’s time to share my December concept photography project! (Here is the link to last month’s concept) This month’s theme was the song Come Josephine in My Flying Machine. Although many inventors were passionate about taking to the skies with incredible flying machine designs, they generally didn’t work at all and that’s what I chose to explore as my concept. I was also inspired by the beautiful and dreamy pink sunsets we’ve been enjoying here in Edmonton (as long as it’s not snowing!), so I sewed up a completely adorable pink and white hot air balloon too
Dreaming of the day her flying machine will finally take flight…
